Common Questions

What do I wear?

Hollywood Glam, the FWIB way. A gown is the move for her, in black, red, gold or silver. Partner guests wear a black suit or tuxedo. If you have been saving something for an occasion that never comes, this is the occasion.

Can I come alone?

Most guests do. The night opens with curated introductions, so nobody has to stand at the edge of a room hoping somebody talks to them. You will be introduced.

Can I bring my partner?

Yes. Duo Gala Access includes your Registered Partner or Date, and men are welcome as Partner Guests. You will be seated together.

Is this only for big businesses?

No. If you started something that did not exist before you started it, you belong in this room. That is the entire point of Founders & Excellence.

What is actually included?

Gala Dining, drinks, every session, the awards, the gift box, the Portrait Studio, FWIB After Dark and the ₱100,000 Grant awarding. There is nothing extra to buy on the night.

How do I apply for the ₱100,000 Grant?

The woman behind the room

Gwen Ayala

Gwen built Filipina Women in Business from a small group chat into a community of more than 5,400 Filipina founders, and she did it while running her own agency at the same time.

She started FWIB because she could not find the room she needed. Nobody was building a space where a woman with one client and a woman with a full team could sit at the same table and talk honestly about money, growth and how hard it actually is.

Gala Night is the night she has been trying to throw since the beginning. Three hundred founders, dressed for it, in a room built to celebrate what they made.

I could not find the room, so I built it.
